Family Resource Centers:
Family Resource Centers are neighborhood and community-based places for families to come to for all kinds of help, information, sharing, and referrals to other programs that might be of help. They also offer events and activities.

Child Development Resource Center (CDRC)
Offers Services to families and providers, Switchboard, Projects, Workshops, Lending Library, and other resources.

CDRC Childcare Switchboard
Database of child care programs and providers in Santa Cruz County, the Child Care Resource & Referral Agencies (CCR&R) uses NACCRRAware, a software program to generate lists that are mailed to the requesting family.

Walnut Avenue Womens Center

Offers Domestic Violence services for women, (including a 24-hour hotline, legal advocacy, workshops and support groups) ‘Moms and Kids’ parenting class, ‘safe homes’ for battered women and children to stay temporarily, and other resources. Also offers youth support groups, empowerment program and Youth Adventures Club.
