FAFSA (Free Application for Student Aid)
This is the official website.  Do not mistake with other FAFSA websites that charge a fee. You must fill out a FAFSA for most student aid at any college, including community colleges.  Note deadlines to file a FAFSA may be earlier or later than deadlines for aid at certain schools or in certain dates; be sure to check all colleges you are applying to and all state aid websites for deadline info!
